The Old Lady

Mary İs Sad Because They Are Going to Move to a new Flat.She Does not like this idea because she has got a lot of friends in her old neighbourhood and she is going to leave them .But she can make new friends in their new street
Now they stop the car in front of their new apartment house and they get out of the car.Mary sees a mysterious old lady at the window.Mary's mother says to her impatitiently. "Come over here and help me.We must carry these things up into the flat","Okay,Mum"she replies.Now they are carrying up the suitcases and packets
Mary Goes upstairs but her dog roby runs into a different flat through an ajar door.She quietly goes into this flat after him She notices an empty room in the flat.She goes on loking for roby she sees her pet in the bathroom She whispers "Come here Roby ; Don't go in there"
Roby does not obey her and he does not go out so she goes in the bathroom to get him.
Then she turns back to go to their own flat But she notices the empty room has got a carpet a sofa and a table this time she things "This is very Strange " At that time,she meets the old lady
She Brings two cups of tea on a tray She Says "You're late I'm waiting for you since the morning Sit down and have some tea "thank you but I Havent got much time I Must Help My Mother " Mary says.And the she asks the old lady curiously "What is your name "And she answers nicely "My Name İs Rose "I Have got a son and a granddaughter but they don't like old people in their house

They Dont want to live with me so ı live her alone But Dont Worry I'm Okay " she adds Then Mary asks "How Old Are You*" Mrs Rose Laughs And says " I'm going to tell you that but you arent going to believe me I'm between 85 and 100 I'm not sure of my age "And they go on chatting

The Old Lady And Mary Become good friends Mary Usually goes over to mrs Rose's house to carry in her groceries Mrs Rose Always gives her a surprise gift when Mary returns from Shopping
One day mary meets a girl near their aparment house the girl says "Hi! Mary greets her too But Mary Does not go on talking with her because she carries groceries to Mrs Rose's flat Sho She just walks away Then She Starts to run all the way to Mrs Rose's flat because she is very anxious to see
Her Surprise gift Afer She delivers the groceries Mrs Rose says ""Thanks You" and then she asks "Can you promise to come here tomorrow * Then Mary quickly answers "Sure I Always come here every afternoon you know it Mrs Rose Then Sehe goes back to her flat
[b] The Next Day Mary Goes out for a walk and she comes across the same girl again Then The girl says "Do you want come to a pop concert with me in the afternoon*"Mary just looks at the girl and she things aliitle bit because she must visit and go shopping for Mrs Rose But She say to herself "Who cares abaout an old lady ?" and replies "Let's go "
Mrs Rose watches them at the window
At the concert she cannot concentrate on the music because she continuously thinks abaout Mrs Rose's loneliness She Feels sorry for her She Says to herself "She İs over 85 or under 100 years old Her Children Don't want the poor woman just because she is old
Mary gets Back home ıt is thundering and lightening outside It is about to shower down She Hears the voice of Mrs Rose She is crying so She feels very sorry for her and she goes over to visit She knocks at the door but she does not open the door When She Turns back to go to her flat the door slams behind her Then she turns around and sees Mrs Rose She Has her hands Up like she is going to kill her Then Mary runs into her flat .When She gets in Her Mum Says "listen to me Mary hears a knocks at the dorr She Looks throungh the eye hole she sees Mrs Rose She Says in a deep voice "I Dont Want to be alone today because I'm dead ! " Then Mary screams and runs into her bedroom Mrs Rose is still Waiting There
The Next Day She Feels Sorry For Mrs Rose Again So she goes to her flat one more time she knocks at the door she opens the door But Mrs Rose runs over with her hands up like she is going to kill Mary Again Mary screams But The old lady says "Dont Be Afraid I Just Want to hug you You Are my best friend "And after that she pust her hands down to her sides and asks calmly "Have you got a new friend ? " Then Mary is still trembling "Yes" she Answers And Mrs Rose Says "Well You have got a new friend now but I'm still alone "


Mrs Rose Sadly moves back to her flat mary says "I'm Going to visit you and go shopping for you tomorrow I promise
